One of the best models available for looking at spinal function

I love everything about Serge Gracovetsky's approach to looking at the spine and it's function. Very comprehensive and technical, with a touch of well placed humor. He seems confident in what he presents and honest with where the limitations in our capabilities of knowing certain things about the spine might be. The book is not easy for someone without a deep mathematics education to understand completely, but there is enough available outside of that to make the book well worth the investigation.

The Spinal Engine is a filled with great information and provides a lot of valuable insight. Some of the models and conclusions tend to get ahead of themselves, otherwise I would give this reference book 5 stars.
