Understanding in one sitting.

I bought this book (I would classify it as a booklet) for a woman at work who simply didn't even understand the difference between Dems and GOP. She expressed that it was clear and finished it in one sitting. It opened up a line of questioning that led to her understanding basic factual differences between the two, although is slanted toward the GOP point of view, seeing as how the author is a former Republican politician. If you can get past this, the book is worth the investment as a clear understanding for younger readers to express the importance of becoming involved, regardless of belief system.

This is a classic. Every American should read this simple book. Our educational institutions are failing and our younger generation has a very poor understanding of what is great with our system, and an even sorrier understanding of the failures and abuses of socialism; what Churchill called the "equal sharing of misery".
